George San Miguel, MD
About the Provider
Dr. George San Miguel received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 1974 from the University of Texas at Austin. After earning his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, he completed his internship and residence at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas in 1982. He became board certified in 1984.
Dr. San Miguel’s father served in the Army for twenty-two years and exposed his family to various locations in the United States and Europe. While attending the University of Texas at Austin, he attended a few classes with his roommate, who was a Pre-Med student. In his sophomore year he realized that he could utilize his interest in Biology to help people by becoming a physician.
Dr. San Miguel became interested in Obstetrics and Gynecology while attending the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston because he felt it would be a rewarding profession. In 1982, when he completed his obligation to the Army, he went into private practice in El Paso.
Dr. San Miguel strives to give his patients state of the art medical care while treating each patient with respect.
